Wipe the refrigerator seals
Fridge door locks, also known as gaskets, can collect crumbs and spills quickly, so it pays to clean them with a crevice tool or work on them with a hard scrubbing / scrubbing brush every time you clean the kitchen floor.

Then take a soft cloth, wrap it around a blunt knife, dip it in this vinegar / water solution, and run it gently along the slits in the tampons to collect the goop. Use a dry cloth or kitchen towel to repeat the process - this should ensure that the cracks are hygienically dried before closing the refrigerator door again.

Clean the freezer
If you've made it this far, you can also go ahead. First things first: Place a towel at the bottom of the freezer to absorb any water that spills when thawed.

Turn off the freezer from the electrical source, empty it, and store any food in a freezer bag to keep it frozen. Shelves and trays should be allowed to reach room temperature before placing in warm water to avoid cracking (more on that above).

Leave the door open for a few minutes to allow the ice to begin to melt - you can handle the refrigerator now if you want to save time. Then use an ice defroster shovel (yes, that's it, and you'll wish you had one if you started without it) to remove the largest chunks of ice, while being careful with the freezer liner.

Then fill the spray container with equal parts warm water and distilled vinegar and spray the walls of the freezer. Use a soft cloth to spread the water and vinegar mixture over the surfaces, then dry them well.

You can help your freezer at its best by not overloading it; By storing the food inside it evenly so that the air circulates properly; By ensuring the food is properly covered or placed in an airtight container when entering it. Wiping up fresh ice pack spills helps keep it free of snow.

Allow refrigerator and freezer to cool, then restock
While washing and drying the refrigerator completely, close the door (restart the thermostat if needed) and wait for the temperature to reach 4 ° C or below before replacing food. Use the Fast Cool function if your fridge has one to speed up the cooling process. Likewise, check that the freezer is back to -18 ° C before putting the food back in.

Finally, clean the outside of your fridge
Just like using soapy water or baking / baking soda inside the refrigerator, you can also use it on the outside of the white appliance. Simply wet a soft cloth, and pour it over the soda while you are good to go. Remember to clean the top of the appliance doors, as they can get sticky, and pay attention to the areas around the handles, which get dirty with constant contact.
